Wooden Block Alley
The only remaining alley in Chicago that is made of wooden blocks
Cam's Thoughts:
Way back in the day, much of Chicago was built with wood (including the roads). Then, a huge fire happened (you may have heard about it, I think they named it after the soccer team). Wood (surprise!) is flammable and much of the city burnt down. This alley is a glimpse into the past of how streets used to look in Chicago. Even though it technically is from after the Chicago fire, it is the only remaining alley in Chicago that is made out of wood.
